campbell's 4th in July

campbell turned 4 this week and had lots of fun stuff to do. She woke up to decorations and presents which she promptly opened.

She went to the library and got her very own library card- yes, that's right- don't be jealous of the sweet gifts we give our children.

She went to the "diaper days" showing of Toy Story 3. This meant her brother got to come and make noise with all the other babies and we all got discounted/free tickets. She enjoyed the movie. The whiny baby and I did not.

She finished off her day with singing and dessert. Since she's a frosting fiend this was very important to her. She sampled it as I was mixing it and helped decorate, choose the colors and design.

Happy Birthday campbell! You are a very funny and creative little girl. She uses big words from who-knows-where and talks to herself all day long. Whenever I'm on the phone the person always asks "who's that talking" and it's usually campbell talking to herself.

She loves flipping through books all day long.

She loves candy and sweets more than anyone else in the family. She's also very good at getting out of chores and work. She has a whole arsenal of excuses and usually wanders away quietly to go flip through more books while emery mutters about having to do all the work herself.
