People can hardly believe how small our tree is so I took a pic for memories. It says it's a 6 ft tree but I think that's a stretch. I can hardly believe people buy humongous trees and store them all year!
Thanks to Dad, we were able to squeeze a trip to Cabo in at the beginning of December. Many of the kids' sports are done by then and it's quieter at work for Spencer. We really appreciate it! The kids were well taken care of and had a fun time.
One of my favorite things to do when we travel is go to the store and buy all the fun candies, snacks and drinks. Then Spencer is wondering how we're going to haul all this stuff back to the hotel. NO problemo.
The weather was gorgeous and the perfect temperature. We got unlimited food at our resort, plenty of seafood for Spencer, and he got to play beach volleyball twice a day with his new friends.
4 visits to the ceviche shack
Ice skating with friends for a homeschool field trip. Soooo glad our friends were there too so I could have someone to talk with. The kids went in circles for hours.
We got two of our very own tables at the library gingerbread decorating night. You have to come on time or you'll end up making your house on the ground. Everything is pre-packaged and pre-made so they hand you the whole kit, make your house and leave the mess behind.
Quinny chit chats with her "stuffies" daily. It's adorable
Griffin made a book for Liam for Christmas that is like "choose your own adventure puzzle book". The kids bring their homework along on many of our errands so we're not homebound all day long.
The only two Brock kids that sat on Santa's lap this year- or by Santa's lap. Quinn asked Santa for a ukelele and Griffin asked for watermelon gum. Yay! We've come a long way from when Quinn was always asking for a puppy.
The Primary kids got to take turns playing Christmas songs during the ward Christmas dinner this year.
When you help in the kitchen at the ward Christmas party you end up bringing the most random food home. You're not allowed to leave anything behind! Our next few meals were made up of cranberry fluff, chips and dip, candy, veggies and ranch and cheeseballs.

December is always my favorite and it always goes WAY too fast!
