Campbell goes above and beyond for all of her projects. She did a great powerpoint presentation and her siblings "classmates" dutifully sit and listen to her presentations.
Everyone with their Come Follow Me stuff out ready for family study time. Listening to their insights has been such a blessing!!!
Little did we know but emery barely got her driving permit before the DMV closed for MONTHS. She wouldn't have been able to practice driving around at all for all of corona-time.
Emery's first time skiing.
They had such a great day and loved it!
The next day we went to a tubing park with lots of hills to sled and tube down and also areas to just sit and play in the snow/eat the snow. This park was exhausting (well not for me... I didn't haul the tube and sleds up to the top of the hill over and over again). The other park we normally go to has a tube lift that does the hard work for you.
Griffin loves eating snow. Some snow trips he would sit and eat snow almost the whole time.
Griffin LOVES making and throwing snowballs but he sure has lots of rules about what makes a snowball fight "fair".
They brought along powdered drink mix to sprinkle on their snowballs
Happiest Valentine's Day to us!
Griffin barely squeaked in another season on basketball before COVID struck. Their team was undefeated until the last game. Griffin played with a sprained finger and still ran out there to do his best whenever it was his turn. He just iced the bulging/swollen finger whenever he was on the bench.
Griffin and Quinn spent one morning pulling out all the roots for 4 bushes I no longer wanted in the front yard. They get all gung-ho over certain projects and I can never really predict which projects will evoke the enthusiasm. They worked really hard and got all the roots out!
The kids love this sideways-growing tree we pass by on our walk.
Quinn- loves being up a tree... any tree
The last week of February was marked by me being totally stressed out and crying multiple times a day after being extended the call of Relief Society President of our ward. My friend Marilynn was the president for the last 3.5 years and NO ONE wanted to follow her. She is amazing and so service oriented and I've learned so much from her over the years about being a good steward of the things you have been blessed with. She took me to the Oakland Temple to pray over the names of my counselors and it was a great experience.
