water and sand

This park has a water play area and a sand/playground area. They also have a sand area with a waterfall bringing water into it which forms a big kiddie lake.

campbell eating sand mixed with crackers. She tried to climb on everything possible. She plopped down in the middle of the waterfall until some kid got mad that she was inhibiting the flow.

So excited about the water squirting up out of the ground.

emery didn't want the sprinkling water to touch her. She'd run out really quick when they were off and sometimes get caught when they started up again.

Here's emery in the kiddie sand lake. The sand is pretty coarse so it wasn't as dirty/cloudy as it looks. emery was the toy police and tried to "help" everyone tell their toys apart. But, of course, it's OK for her to play with any toy.
