Spring Break Vacation (Niagara and Day 1)

We decided this was a good year to do a complete Church History trip with the kids. We flew from Oakland into Buffalo and started our trip at Niagara Falls, then Palmyra, Harmony/Susquehanna, Kirtland, (Morgan's house), Nauvoo and then Independence where we flew out of the Kansas City airport and back home. It was awesome!
I tried to throw 1 non-churchy thing into the trip since we were in the area but it ended up being our only bust. It was wet and rainy and foggy right at the falls.
We could see about 1/3 to 1/2 of the Falls. I couldn't believe that the weather was cruddy just at the falls we could see fine everywhere else! ugh
We walked all the way around Goat Island
We walked across the bridges to get to the Three Sisters Islands

Spencer and I brought our passports so we could pop into Canada for a little while. We walked across the Rainbow Bridge and went through Border Services on both ends... now the kids can say they've been to Canada.
Luckily the hot tub at our hotel was ginormous so they could get all warmed up at the end of the day.
