December 2021

Quinny never has enough arts and crafts to keep her busy.
Griffin helping hang Christmas lights.
Griffin not helping hang Christmas lights.
The jewelry shop in Emery's room.
Emery's winter band performance. She made first chair this year so we got a better view than years past. She had a handful of solo parts in each performance. It has been a joy to watch her skill and confidence grow.
Griffin passed up Emery last year and then grew taller than me in 2022 and is now creeping up on Campbell.
We decided Christmas time was the perfect time to get new carpet and move all our possessions into different rooms.

All dad and emery's hard work doing the bathroom tile looks even better with new carpet going all the way up to the edge now.
Temple Hill in December is always a good idea. Stakes in the area take turns wrapping and hanging all those lights and the results are beautiful!

We were so excited to have the Giving Machine close to us this year! We got there at a perfect time and could look over all our options and each pick something special to donate to those in need.

There is a large children and family area in the Oakland Temple Visitor's Center.
Griffin sliced his thumb and extensor tendon in his thumb with a box cutter at a Christmas Party. He was very brave and didn't cry but he did go into shock and had to be carried to the car before heading to the ER. We were so blessed that night- the ER Dr was able to get a hold of a plastic surgeon who specializes in hands. The plastic surgeon was driving home after work on a Friday but came back to do this surgery.
We put a mask over his eyes also so he could relax more and release some of the tension on the tendon while it was being stitched together. Everyone who walked by did a double take and some came into the room to ask him to put the mask back over his mouth- then they realized he was VERY masked up.
Emery helping set up an Oreo Christmas house activity that grandma arranged for the cousins.

Griffin was very excited to shower with a Ziplock bag.
Campbell is an amazing artist and spent a good part of Christmas Break painting.

The annual Brock Family nativity. I have years and years of videos of us doing the Nativity Song with costumes.

Money Bingo with Grandma Judy
The Folsom Aquarium with cousins!
