Fall 2022

Campbell at the gun range for a mutual activity.

Different night for mutual was learning to make bread.

Quinny helping her cross country team to place at the relay cross country meet.

Nice job girls!!!

Grandma went out shopping with Quinn at Target when they stayed to watch the kids so Spencer and I could take Emery to Utah.

Campbell tackling the last hill of the DAL cross country meet. She ran varsity again this year. She's been so dedicated to attend cross country practice every day after school for 2 hours and volunteer with young girls for Girls on the Run AND keep her As in all her AP classes. She's amazing.

Campbell's pumpkins are always the best! We broke the very last pumpkin carving knife this year so she had to wrangle most of her design with lesser knives.

Quinn changed from a Native American (after she ripped the costume all up at our party) into a peacock. Griffin was a Target employee and Camlbell and her 2 friends were Three Blind Mice.

Griffin and his friend kindly invited Quinn and a couple other kids to go out with them on their big boy Halloween trick-or-treating evening.

2nd place at the church Halloween party chili making contest that they never announced was a contest. I never would have brought soup if I knew it was being judged. I was more than happy to take my prize home though!

Homeschool last minute Halloween Party! We have so many homeschoolers in our area that I could easily send a text the night before Halloween saying to meet at the park at noon and somehow we had a full on party arranged within an hour. Love it.

Griffin stuck upside down in the Bubble Ball. My friend has about 14 of these indestructible Bubble Balls that she generously brings to activites and lends out to mutual groups etc. The kids loved them and the turf was the perfect place for the kids to roll around on.

Quinn made "ten plagues cookies" where she had to find a way to represent each of the 10 plagues of Egypt. She was pretty clever and had to do lots of hand shaping to get river of blood or locusts haha. Griffin made sure to remind her of this assignment daily.

Quinn and Griffin's last cross country race of the season is in Alameda at Crown Beach. We love CYO cross country!

Griffin set a goal to get one of the coveted medals in the last cross country race of the season. Only the top 30 boys get one out of hundreds of racers. He came in number 30 and wore this medal everywhere we went for a while.

Pumpkin patch with the homeschoolers

"Mom! Take a picture of my haircut and send it to Emery. Ask her what she thinks. She knows stuff."

Mom! Take a picture of the spider eating me and send it to Emery!

Griffin likes to make big claims... like that he could eat this entire bowl of watermelon in one sitting. I called him on it and said I'd give him 100 bucks if he was correct. Then I was second guessing myself as he settled in and started pounding the watermelon. Luckily he barely ate 1/4 of it.

Back to school father's blessings for everyone!

Quinny decided to make her cell model out of candy- smart! Griffin was more than happy to help her *clean up* the jello-candy concoction when she was done.
