Since it still feels like summer around here I though it wasn't too late to post pictures of the girls's swim lessons. They were shorter than the minimum height requirement so they had to stand on a portable platform in the pool. emery was terrified of the platform because it "moves all over the place with the waves".
So, here she is learning lots of stuff about the side of a pool. The teacher would come get her when it was her turn to practice swimming. Sometimes she could con the teacher into carrying her around while they did the "head bobs" and "bubble blowing".
griffy loved the lessons. He got plenty of attention from the other moms and was good about staying on his blanket and playing with stuff from my purse. All in all, the girls became more comfortable with putting their heads in the water but are no closer to swimming than when they started.

Two little 'almost' swimmers.
It was definitely more fun to watch the lessons than to try to give them.
