December

 We made our yearly visit to the ice rink- and brought emery's friend along again.

 Quinny in her granny walker. She's a little speedy bulldozer with that thing.

 We got tickets to Scrooge! and the Nutcracker this year at the temple. Double win! I've never been able to get tickets before. We loved Scrooge! and knew a couple people in the orchestra. Quinny was even following the storyline and counting the ghosts who visited Scrooge.

 Pre-braces

 Griffin got some shiny braces on his teeth. They are only on half of his top teeth. There is a spring in that gap between his front teeth trying to create a huge gap to encourage his missing front tooth to come in. *fingers crossed*

 Campbell had to research omelets and then make one on her own for math class (????). It actically tasted amazing!

 Ward Christmas party

 Griffin's Christmas gift was ready in about 2 minutes. And he saved even more time by putting all our gifts into one package. Inside were scraps of paper with coupons- one for each of us. Quinn got his old Christmas tree, Spencer got a head OR back OR foot rub, emery and campbell got "Me not annoying you for 1 minute" and I got "clean one room of your choice"

 Gingerbread houses are always a hit. Or, the bowls of candy are always a hit.

 I added white cotton candy this year to the candy pile- I thought it was brilliant for snow etc... but it was totally dead by the next morning. Duh... of course it's going to dissolve.

 Emery made this card with lights at school. You press in different places and it made different lights glow.

 We snapped a couple pictures after the Nutcracker on Temple Hill. The kids did pretty well during the ballet but Griffin was d.y.i.n.g... every time a new dancer came out and the music started back up he would groan and sink further into his chair.

 We drove over to the temple after church in December to take some pictures with the lights. We're really going to miss being there as construction is set to start next week.

 Quinn's Christmas performance for 1st grade. She's a reindeer.
