It's not Valentine's Day without sugar cookies and valentines so we made it happen for the kiddos.

Emery's dollhouse needed a roof so she stained these shingles and added them on. I don't think any house has ever received as much TLC as Emery's house.

Griffin had an engineering assignment with good old toothpicks and marshmallows. He ate SO many marshmallows during this activity.

We headed down to San Diego at the end of February to catch up with our good friends who moved down there last year. Lots of food, beach time and talking.

One beach had a ton of super fat seals and in the hour we were there we saw a bunch of baby seals being born. The pregnant ones looked miserable.

La Jolla Beach was beautiful. It's been many many years since we've been to San Diego and we were happy to have an excuse to explore it a little bit.
