March

Happy birthday to Dad! Katie threw a fun surprise party for Dad- we got to see family members we haven't seen in a while and ate some great food!
Emery got some more demo experience under her belt. Here she is modeling with her 2 favorite tools- crowbar and mallet. We said goodbye to our useless wetbar.

Campbell organized the art closet and it makes me so happy everytime I see it!
Dad capped off the water supply and built a huge new storage area for us. He also moved some of the electrical stuff and ripped out the soffit so we could have even more space. I can't believe how much storage space there is in the drawers and cupboards!

Look how pretty! He built the entire thing at home and somehow it just fits! What a blessing for us.

Our homeless encampment in our backyard. Of course this bush is the only thing I can see out our dining room window. Lovely.
Griffin is going to make such a good husband some day- if his wife really likes to have her hair brushed.
At the end of March Griffin came to find us and said there were bees in his room. Well that's weird. We went to investigate and, after contacting my beekeeper friends, we discovered the group of bees were scout bees trying to find a nice place for their friends to swarm to. We smoked them out of the vent that they were in love with and tried to entice them into a hive body our friend brought over. He put some old wax and honey into the hive along with some essential oils that bees love. We crossed our fingers that the swarm would go into the box and not our home.

Within a couple days the swarm had arrived and our tiny colony was in business!

Long story short, I fell in love with these busy little bees and after Amazon made several deliveries to our home we had enough stuff to take care of the bees on our own.
