Christmas presents

 quinny's present from Great-Grandma and Grandpa Whiting. Grandma found different and thoughtful gifts for everyone.

 emery opened her favorite present first. Her doll is named Hannah and she is a well-loved gift.

 campbell loves tape and stapling things so she got some fancy colorful tape. She goes through Costco-sized packs of my tape.

 griffin opened his helmet and never asked if there was a bike to go with it. He was just happy with the helmet. I love that boy. We eventually pointed out that the bike under the tree was for him.

 emery made Christmas presents for everyone again this year. I thought she might give up as the family got bigger and bigger. She has a long list and writes ideas for everyone and figures out what their likes are or where they live and then plans what to make. Grandpa's gift was a sketch of mom that emery framed and wrapped up for him. emery sat at the kitchen counter and sketched mom while she was cooking. It's quite the portrait.

 campbell joined in on the present-making with emery. Those two were like little elves every day after school. Unfortunately for campbell, I mistook many of her gifts for trash and I threw tons of them away while cleaning their room out. Here is Jeff holding one of the surviving gifts- a BYU handkerchief.

 campbell's enthusiasm has no limits. This is a locking journal she really really wanted.

 quinny got 2 baby carriers for Christmas and cousin gwen got 2 babies so it worked out great.

 These two are so fun to watch.
