Monterey Bay Aquarium

The kids had a long weekend and we weren't teaching on Sunday so we quickly planned a trip to Monterey/Carmel. First stop was the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
Looking at the "Kelp Forest" and waiting for the scuba diver to feed the fish.
Cool! Campbell got asked up to the front to help?? Nope. She raised her hand and didn't get called on so she just followed the guy who did get picked.
 Touch pools
The rays were swimming down pretty deep in the touch pool but that didn't stop campbell from getting to touch one. She just dove right in.

In the wave room- a big wave crashes over this glass room. Little griffin is in mid-air.
I said "line up in the clam and smile!"
All 4 were asleep within a few minutes. Quinn is holding her new otter toy. I couldn't resist-it's so cute! And she calls him "Otty" Augh! Dying!
Then we went to the kids favorite part of any vacation. The hotel. They took every "free" thing they could find. The pen, notepad, they popped the free popcorn. Brings back memories of my own childhood.

We LOVE the Monterey Bay Aquarium! We would walk there for their monthly free day. It brings back so many memories of our 2 years living in Monterey. Love, love, love that place! I'm so glad you had a lovely visit!

Yes, when you were little tykes the hotel rooms were stripped clean of everything free. I remember getting in to the shower and.....no soap.
Glad you had a fun family trip!

Love, mom

Campbell knows how to get her money's worth out of any activity.
That's a pretty good gap in front with the missing tooth.
