Point Lobos is a beautiful state reserve with trails and tidepools and ocean views. The weather was perfect and there was a lot of sea life to see also. Supposedly there were hundreds of whales swimming by, but I didn't even know what to look for and we didn't have binoculars. The kids pointed to every wave and said it was a whale and who was I to ruin their excitement... it could have been a whale...
The girls found normal crabs and hermit crabs in the pools.
Hahaha. This place was the stuff Spencer's nightmares are made of. 4 kids running around leashless with waves, rocks, cliffs and tidepools.

Thank for taking us on our little trip Spence! Even though you were really sick and had to use your free hotel points and wait outside gift shops for us!! Love you!
