We've started a yearly tradition of camping with our friends (2 years running- woo hoo) and always have a great time. This trip was only 30 mins away in the hills and we were the only campsite in the whole area. The drive to get to the site was an adventure in itself and was probably more suited for quads or jeeps.

Before we even started the trek to our site we were playing around a water spout and saw that every time we turned it on a bunch of little frogs would hop out of the drain/grate. It was crazy. By the time we were done hundreds of frogs had climbed out of the drain and hopped away. I didn't know whether to barf or scoop the cute little things up.
We figured this was bound to be an awesome camping trip with a start like that.
