Book of Mormon

emery set a goal back in the fall that she wanted to finish the Book of Mormon by herself before she turned 8 and was baptized.
She finished a couple weeks ago and we are so proud of her. She really got into her study and would often read a bunch more pages than planned so she could find out what was going to happen next. For a while I was really nervous that she was going to get really far behind because she needed to read so many pages each day to meet her goal. I didn't say anything and let her just plug along.
She really impressed me with her understanding of the teachings and how well she remembered the names of the prophets, places and locations.
She's such a good girl and we're happy she sets a good example for campbell, griffin and quinn.
Because this cute little girl looks up to her big sister she finished the whole Book of Mormon Stories. It was a goal for our Primary that each child finishes either the Book of Mormon or the Book of Mormon Stories this year, so they both completed their goals.

Congratulations Emery and Campbell.
That was an appropriate and wonderful goal to read the Book of Mormon before your baptism this year.
Now you have a testimony from the feeling of happiness that you felt while reading about Jesus Christ.
Love, grandpa
